Last December? Same here. The way the song builds, the chorus, the many different directions the guitar bridge leads, the whole feeling, spooky kinda, the way John plays with the fills and added hits, some of those chord progressions, the pop of the bass in certain spots, the synths building, did I mention that guitar bridge solo? wow, it takes ya places.

I agree.I've never heard of a song as great as Last December. It defiantly does take U places, whether
emotionally or spiritually. To me the song is also a great compliment to the first song TRC.One great song to begin the album, and a fantastic one to end the album. [This message was edited Wed Aug 28 22:23:26 PDT 2002 by Biscuit] My name is BISCUIT...and I am funky!

This has probably been mentioned before but what's up with those whispering voices in the background? Anyone been able to hear exactly what's being said? Don't tell me I'm the only one hearing voices!! Sounds like something important going on. I like the effect.

I love the basics of "Controversy" and "Sexy Dancer". Funky and easy to get the "funky face" from.

Adore because of the bass, organs and horns. Reminded me so much of singing in church but the horns really blew me away.

For one, "Bambi" did a bit to develop the thought of an instrument making a statement as a lead and being the rhythm part as well. Sort of like answering your own question. I am MrVictor....

I'd have to say "Something in the Water" because it's so sparse, yet full of emotion. It's proof that you don't need too much going on to be intense. It's such an inovative piece.

I can't name just one.
Right now, it's the live version of "joy of repetition" from the celebration. The build-up, the effects-drenched-20 minute solo is enough to make me turn up the Marshall and find it.
