What ya got?

What do you make music with? Most of my stuff is used but works good. Three Ensoniq EPS-16's, a Yamaha DX-7, a good Peavey guitar, a saxophone, a small drumkit, and several effects processors. Oh yeah and a new PC with Cakewalk Pro Audio 8 and several other programs I use. If you have a site with music please let us know. Mine will be done soon.

I don't have too much. I have a Korg N364 workstation with 10 song, 16 track sequencer, an external voice DOD synth, a Harmon/Kardon analog dolby noise reduction deck, a Tascam 4 track recorder (with bouncing capability to have up to eight tracks), a dual home CD recorder deck, a Gibson harmony bass guitar (sometimes, when my dad doesn't have it) and an Audio-Technica studio mic. That is all I have currently. Hopefully in the future I will get more $ and I will be able to get some better digital equip, but 4 now, I make the best of what I have. I use to have a home PC that I used Soundforge and Cakewalk to mix, but now I just have the analog mix board. Oh, and I have a Bundy trumpet and a harmonica.

Peace,
JD

Hey JD, I have a Korg N364 too! I also have a Roland Hp1900G Digital piano with weighted keys. I use Cakewalk pro audio 9 and an ISIS Maxi Studio soundcard. I have two mics, an audio-technica Pro3H and an Electro-Voice MC150. I'm just now getting into digital audio recording, so I'm not sure which mic I prefer with my new setup and all the reverb & effect plugins I just got.

I have an old Yamaha FB01 tone generator in a box somewhere that I may start experimenting with again. I seem to recall a good harpsichord sound on it. Haven't been satisfied with any other harpsichord sound since. I'm in need of some new equipment.

Wow. Sounds like we can all have some fun. Most of my stuff has been given to me. I think I've done well with it. Just wish I had more money. I drool over Keyboard and Home Recording magazine every month! and the Musicians Friend catlog.

Small and portable for me. Primarily a drummer for many years. Small studio...

• Roland SPD-8
• Gretch 60's snare, beautiful red hot sparkle shell, mostly for brush techniques and rudiments
• Linn LM-1
• Danelectro Electric Guitar, built in effects, great feel and sound and affordable!
• 70's Roland Bass Synth (without the synth), love this thing!
• Oxygen 8 Keyboard
• MOTU Digital Performer and various other soft synths
• TiBook 400
• Sony MZR900 MiniDisc Recorder/Player (reviewing practice and performances) CD quality recordings! Love it!
• All hooked up to a small Behringer Eurorack mixer.

Slowly but surely building a pro-level electronic drum set, Purple Music style!
