Do U Like Funk/Rock/Soul? Good Evening Friends,
Some of you know me, most of you don't but I've been recording and I want you all to hear my work. I've put four tracks of music up on my myspace page and I was hoping that I could get you boys and girls to check it out. I really only need about 5 or so minutes of your time. If you like guitars, sped up vocals, catchy melodies, keyboards and strange sounds, well, I've got what you might want. Here's the link to my site: http://www.myspace.com/jaydeep10000 Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to check this message out. It is much appreciated. Peace Jaydeep

What up my people,
I keep checking this forum to see that many folks check this post... the interest has peaked and I don't blame you - my tracks are dirty. I sent them to Morris Hayes and he approves! Now, I need a little more feedback!! Come on ya'll... post your opinions - good and bad. Although I'm certain the good will over power the bad because the songs are just so damn solid. I'm a dirty man - and this is the type of stuff those who really listen to music, jones for. Appreciate this stuff - post a response. Recognize that I'm on the brink of being signed and without the support of a major label, you can listen to and witness the birth of a musician who composes the way your hero once did - with fire. Peace and keep listening... it's good for you. Jaydeep10000

Hey - I liked it. Vocal stylings very Prince. You obviously have a very good voice and your music sounds very polished. What program do you use to record it?

Hi Mattyjam,
First of all, thanks for responding. I appreciate the feedback. As far as the vocals are concerned, I agree with you. I was interested in going after a Camille type vocal but I think I'm going to rerecord the vocals for all of my music with my original voice. I love keyboards, the 80s, guitars, drums, bass and fun rock and roll - as a result, I put together my own soundtrack. Unfortunately, I'm not one to share what type of gear I use and as a result, I'm going to have to skip that question. I'm not big on studio gear and the stuff that I use is really just the bare minimum. Unfortunately, I don't have the coin to buy great quality instruments and recording equipment, although you can clearly hear that I've got the skills to make it all up. Peace and thanks for listening Jaydeep10000
