Musical Collaborations between orgers

I'm not a "musician" per se but wanted to throw this idea out there.

How about fellow "Orgers" who are musicians/singers collaborating their ideas and posting their collaborations here in the form of MP3s or something along those lines? Or how about a website dedicated to such ventures??

I've heard some music from fellow orgers and would be interested to hear voices attached to that music. Especially if the vocal aspect and the musical aspect are rooted in their love of Prince.

Samuel

I made several Prince covers as close to the original as I could and I'd be willing to share a couple if anyone wants to attempt vocals on them just for fun or add more instruments. They ain't my songs really so do what you want.

Why would you want to? Why don't you record Prince songs in your own style? Hardly any songs I heard by Prince are that bad that they need improving, so why not play around a bit?

Like a hard rock version of Do Me Baby.
I've got this GRRREAT idea for a house remix of Joy In Repetition...

Great idea and its 1 I have 2 endorse because Ive been thinking about it myself quite alot recently.

Lewis aka.'TheCloud9Mission' is producing his own Prince Tribute Album but I think that all the best Org song writers/musicians should get 2gether in sumway and do a collaborative Prince Tribute Album. Just like U hear all these other stars doing. It would be amazing...

I know it would be almost impossible 2 do but I really think that the cream of the Orgs musical talents should consider doing this.

I did it because it was a challenge to see how close to Prince I could come. I did mess around with Sign O' The Times and Gett Off a bit by slowing down the tempo and adding a bunch of effects. I'd probably get more serious about it if motivated. I'm already starting to get inspired by reading what everyone here has to say. Ever hear You've Got To Be Kidding Me? There's a hard rock version and a slowed down version. Both sound great. I forget the band. Maybe someday we'll get to hear your idea for Joy come to life?

Grace

Me and Dodson work together on occasion. I visit relatives in Louisville sometimes, and I meet Dodson and go to Southern Illinois when I get time so that we can get together on tracks. Dodson and I worked together on songs back in the day when he lived here in Columbus, Ohio. I look forward to playing on tracks with Lewis eventually, and maybe some other org peoples.

Ciao,
Suzie.
