well..i did it. going for a guitar lesson today...let's see what kind of tips i can pick up
interstingly....the instructors FIRST name is the same as my maiden name...which is a a very uncommon name. in fact, i have only heard the name one other time in my entire life....a basketball player i believe. | |

ok, so my lesson went really well. The instructor was surprised at how much I had learned on my own. Mostly he just gave me some riffs to work on over the next week to help build speed and dexterity.
One thing he commented on was that I didn't "tap my foot" while playing. While playing alone, I find that very difficult because my foot wants to tap to the rhythm rather than the tempo. Any suggestions? | |
