I think it would be great to tackle a vault song instead something that's hit the radio. Just my thought.

I can't imagine too many musicians will want to participate, if they can't have a hand in the selection process. Voting's better! Maybe we could even get a Mod to put a notice up on the mainpage (the more contributors the better, in my opinion). Of course - your thread, your call!

How about choose three songs and let people pick one of them? You'd get more participants, but still hear different takes on some of the same tunes. Just an idea. And, I'm always interested.
