This was good to hear the 2 different versions....
The old version sounds like a John Lennon shindig hippy fest.... compared to the new one.... both sound as good... I'm going a bit critical here coz I like your sound and the chorus.... - please forgive... 
Lyrically in this song you make love sound like a persuasive manipulative mentalised manouevor of sorts... Its like your trying to force someone into loving you..... YUKKKK

I did go to your Soundclick page though, for a quick listen before I go out. The Prince live medley sounded like a lot of fun, particularly Darling Nikki. I also like how the drummer interpreted the When Doves Cry loop on an acoustic kit. Nice work!  |

the vocals, as always top notch, its nice, i don't dig the intro though, nice use of flanger sterio like drums i dig it, it gives it like a dance edge
the guitar sounds a bit folksy, maybe thats what u where goin for but i think it needs a little crunch, it really gets good once you get into the meat of the song , i dig it but the lyrics are a little wishy washy, charlie brown ish lol but its cheezy in a good fashion i dig it man! it grooves! Thanks for the comments. The lyrics aren't deep that's for sure, but I went for pure pop on this one. I realize that lyrically this isn't a shining moment for me. The second chord in the verse is one I have yet to find a name for, though.

"Aliens".....very artsy and modern....love the guitar on this,
as well as the spaceshippy sounding noises towards the end, but those pesky aliens is right....
"Hedonist"...I love your vocals, the guitar...sexy sound... good production....in other words, the whole ball of wax
Even though your vocals are strong, I'm still having trouble deciphering all the lyrics, but that's my problem I think, not yours....it would be fun to see the lyrics to this song however... | |
