THE NEON ROMEOZ from SWEDEN If you're in Stockholm you don't wanna miss "The Neon Romeoz"
September, 30 2006 at Hemmahos Kammakargatan 22, Stockholm, Cost: FREE ENTRY !!! www.myspace.com/theneonromeoz The Neon Romeoz' music and concept originates from the desire to put reality behind, hence the "Keep it Unreal" forthcoming album title. Their music opens the door to a utopic, sexy dreamland hidden in every one's mind and soul. Through simple yet infectious grooves, The Neon Romeoz guide the listener to this very door within ! Behind this door they'll find The Neon Romeoz in a glowing, sweaty haze, dancin', singin' and tearin' the place apart for a crowd of extravagant and sexy creatures cravin' the purifyin' power of a slammin' party! A crowd who loves to dance and enjoys being in an exclusive funky environment created by a couple of flamboyant "larger than life" playful characters brought to you in the form of The Neon Romeoz !!! The music of The Neon Romeoz is aimed at a public who loves music by contemporary artists such as Outkast/Andre3000, Chromeo & legends from the past such as George Clinton, Prince, Parliament/Funkadelic, Sly and the Family Stone, Bootsy, Cameo, Morris Day & The Time, P-Funk & even a little Kid Creole & the Coconuts can all be heard in their dynamic & funktified sound ! www.myspace.com/theneonromeoz /peace Manki

I'm enjoying the music...fun stuff.....
And although you didn't mention "The Family" specifically as one of your influences, I felt it in 'Dance That's An Order'..... And the lead singer on 'Mother To All Mothers' has a Gnarls Barkley kinda voice....but that might be just me hearing that..... Now as far as the lyrics...I'm still deciphering and digesting them. As for Mother to all Mothers we we're thinking what would it sound like if we took 1 part André 3000 & 1 part Maxwell and mixed it all up that's how we got that voice out of Mr.Rolex I'll do a soundclick profile real soon so look out for that as well in the near future.

It makes sense I guess that you grouped them with Prince....I just like to separate the two because I love The Family sound and think they were underrated as a group.... Interesting to see how Gnarls appeared..... Cool about 'soundclick'....
