I'm enjoying the music...fun stuff..... 
And although you didn't mention "The Family" specifically as one of your influences, I felt it in 'Dance That's An Order'..... 
And the lead singer on 'Mother To All Mothers' has a Gnarls Barkley kinda voice....but that might be just me hearing that..... Now as far as the lyrics...I'm still deciphering and digesting them.  [Edited 9/29/06 18:56pm] | |

As for Mother to all Mothers we we're thinking what would it sound like if we took 1 part André 3000 & 1 part Maxwell and mixed it all up that's how we got that voice out of Mr.Rolex I'll do a soundclick profile real soon so look out for that as well in the near future. | |

It makes sense I guess that you grouped them with Prince....I just like to separate the two because I love The Family sound and think they were underrated as a group.... Interesting to see how Gnarls appeared.....
