GEETAR - my main instrument
Used to play Bass, Keys, and Drums, but have stuck to guitar for almost two years, now. Played the other instruments for recording/songwriting purposes; now, I just do everything on guitar and use garageband for drum beats, percussion, etc. There's a personal connection with the guitar that I don't have with other instruments. It's been like a best friend to me throughout the years.

Think I'm gonna cry...

I play everything as long as I'm doing it.
There ARE limits tho'...

First impressions are interesting tho'. If people see me play one instrument first, say for example keys, they think I'm a keyboard player and I just happen to play anything else. Ditto for any other instrument.

I like 2 have fun regardless what I play, not about how many you play, it's how U express yourself... it's therapeautic

my son wants to learn bass guitar. He has no musical experience. Is it hard to learn, especially if you play no other instrument? Where do you find sheet music, etc.? I have only seen guitar tabs and piano scores...

I can't play any instruments very well, but I know how to produce and put things together nicely. I also play by ear, cause I can't read music, and do not have any theoretical knowledge about music at all almost. I just know very basic things. But what I do use when I produce is...

- akai mpc 1000 (drum machine, sampler, sequenser)
- microkorg (a small synth, with very small keys, but hot sounds)
- kazoo
- shaker
- vocals (singing, falsetto, backing vocals, rap...)

Guitar - good

I was never, ever good at playing covers. I always end up warping it to the point where (in a band setting) we could pen a new tune. I think a lot of guitar player base their opinion of themselves upon how well they can play other peoples music - fuck that

BASS - great

When I'm hitting I'm a nut player.

KEYBOARD - hack

Plain and simple, but I think I can lay some pretty good leads when I want to.

Drums - good

But only in my head

Piano - for my needs, OK, but most people would say I suck
