Do any of u guys own/play the Korg MOSS board or the OASYS synth? If so, how do u like it?

I checked out the OASYS at the shop one time...Didnt get to check out alot of sounds, the ones that I did sounded very similar to the Triton... The weighted keys are ok, I didnt like the lack of 'kick back' in the keys, I prefer a little more 'bounce' and 'snap'(I dont know the technical terms).

The OpenLabs Niko seems to be really kool tho...Its expenisive tho...I havent seen it at the shop yet, when I do I'll get to check it out... I heard about it when someone posted about Morris Hayes using it on SNL.. apparently Renato Neto uses it...as well as Timbaland and more... you can find articles on the Openlabs Sight.

There is also the Miko... which I guess is a portable version of the Niko?

I own the original OASYS card and the MOSS. Both ridiculas boards man.....I absolutely love them both. I own the Prophecy, Karma, and Triton also.

The OASYS PCI card was the original version of all the products that Korg spun off of what is now the Kord OASYS synth. The Korg prophecy, Z1, Triton, and other Korg products were spin offs of that board. Great sounding gear. The MOSS is the sound engine that generated the Prophecy and the Z1. It's a small subset of the OASYS which is the the top dog of the korg boards.
