What drum programme do you use? I'm thinking of making my first ever track, I've been having ideas for a while, and wondered what the best programme there is out there to make a drum track over which I'll put the guitars, bass etc. I don't have a band, this really is a solo project, I'm attemping to do the whole Prince thing and want to write 'Composed, Arranged, Produced and Performed by Rider'. That's probably one of the coolest lines I ever read. In fact I'm thinking of sending it to my friends as a 'band I just discovered' and not tell them it's me, so I can get their REAL opinion on it. So, any good drum machine programmes any of you know of and/or use?
Thanks for all your help! Rider

The battery plugin for cubase vst is really amazing, nothing else comes close.
The drum computer in Reason is good & fun too, if you're looking for something a little simpler. Finally, just Fruity Loops and a bunch of samples can work pretty nicely too.

Thanks guys, I've settled on LeafDrums, cos it's dead easy to use and I'm sure there's lots of good samples out there I can use.
