I'm playing with some new guys who want to do Sweet Thing this weekend.

but I just am missing a few chords.

What I have is a basic AMaj9 - Dmaj7 riff through most of the verse.

The part that I can't get is:

"Whoa[?]- oaaa.[?]..... Sweet[G] Thing[A], [G] [A]

"don't you know you're my everything" [?]


It's the chords before and after the keys do G to A, Gto A.

Someone please help!!

PS I'm doing this on Keys.

TA gave me the missing chords for the bridge below:

C#m7, F#m7
G-A-D, A-B-E (the voicings I mentioned earlier)
G, A (straight triads)
C#m7, F#m7, Amaj7

For those interested, this is how we're playing it.....(which may not be exaclyy to the record but hey!):

Verse:

||:Amaj9 ---- Dmaj7 : || [this goes over the whole verse section with riffs thrown in]


Chorus:

C#m7, F#m7 "Whoooah ooohh
G-A-D, A-B-E "Sweet Thing"
G, A
C#m7, F#m7, Amaj7 "Don't you know you're my everything"

This repeats for Verse 2 and Chorus 2.

Then modulate up 1/2 step for final section:

||: Bbmaj9 ---- Ebmaj7 : ||


For the "love me now or I'll go crazy" progression we're just going down as follows:

Dm7 -- Dbm7 --- Cm7 --- Bdim7*

and then back into the Bmja9---Ebmaj7.

*note this could also be a Bmin7 or even a F11.....they all kinda work.
