The vocalist is great and really well-recorded. The rest of the song isn't terribly well produced to be honest, and the New World loop is just silly. Melody is adequate, but it's really well complimented by the skillful vocalist.

All in all, I'm quite confused by this thing. You seldom hear so well-recorded and performed vocals on a link posted to these kind of hobbyist forums, on the other hand I can't figure out how your song can at the same time contain so clumsy and amateurish musicianship?

lol thats really funny you say that cuz the loops i used were from Vogue - Madonna, New World - obviously, - dear prudence, beatles - and a sound effect from ur just another part of me - Michael Jackson .. lol

so do you mean the content of the loops or the way i put them together?

glad you liked the vocals.
thats where its at for me. smile

fun fun fun

Well, the loops don't work that well as the New World loop is way too obvious and the looping point makes it far too repetitious and quite irritating to be honest. The overlaid keyboard part at the beginning of the song is played terribly bad - I'd reconsider it's inclusion on the track. I'm not against loops or samplling as such, by no means, but you've got to be a bit less straightforward with it. Or alternatively, you've got to be exremely straightforward in their usage. There really is not that much middle-ground.

But like I said, very good vocals. Extremely well-recorded too. It's seldom this way around on homemade recordings, as usually the lousy vocals spoil an otherwise well-excecuted track.

Keep it going.

That's a nice board! I have a Korg N364 with the onboard sequencer- many of Korg's sounds are similar, so I was expecting you to say Korg of some sort....

thumbs up!
