Please listen to this Flash New Hard-Funk Tune written and recorded today! JOHN PHILLIP PRESENTS...
Click link below for new song: http://www.myspace.com/jpmusician "I'm Not Scared" was written in a whirlwind experimental 4-track and computer session of about 7 hrs. It's very danceable, contains a mixture of analog and digital instruments and is unlike anything I've recorded before... this is more of my new direction that I've been discovering lately. - John Phillip "giving chimpanzees free cable since 1993" Also available here: lo-fi URL: http://www.soundclick.com...37584&q=lo hi-fi URL: http://www.soundclick.com...37584&q=hi P.S. Prince-influence-spotters - there is a bit of a nod to Prince with some of the beats and a Camille-ish effect on the vocals. But I think M.I.A. and Peaches almost have some bearing on the sound, too. . [Edited 4/24/06 4:22am]

I like it! 7 hours??? Very impressive! Definitely sounds Princey to me... The sax kind of sounds like Eric Leeds... and guitar sounds kind of like the guitar in Positivity IMO... [Edited 4/24/06 8:02am]
