Awwesome job. AWESOME. The vocals are crispy clean and the verb is damn sweet. The harmonica goes out every now and then, but who cares, it's sposed to. The only odd part is the harp ain't verbery, and everything else is.
But your voice is pristine. Three thumbs up on that. What mic are you using? www.beaurocks.com Trees are made of WOOD!

But your voice is pristine. Three thumbs up on that. What mic are you using? Here's my new setup that I've been using lately: Garageband on the iMac an Edirol UA-25 recording interface thingie for guitars - one or two (for stereo) Nady diaphragm condenser mics for vox - AKG C100S The acoustic guitar sounds great without doing much at all and I like the preset vocal settings on GB better than the Zoom. I recorded the harp in stereo (the acoustic guitar setup) and didn't bother doing anything to it at all. I played it from about two feet away, too. The mic is the same mic that I've been using for the last two years. I always feel that I earn your praise, my brutha! Thanks a bunch! ps - did ya happen to listen to the latest version of The Best Tonight? I know you must have something to say!

Thanks, Tal! I've been getting more compliments on this song that I recorded in a few hours when I was sick than most others! I can't possibly sound better with a cold, can I?

Wow - really nice sounding track, dude. I've never heard of a Edirol UA-25 but now I'm looking into one!
I think you must mean AKG C1000S, right? Sounds fantastic. What's your acoustic?

The acoustic that I use for miked recordings is a Seagull S(6) CW. That Canadian wood reverberates pretty nice. That is, until I get that new Taylor!

the only thing about this i could possibly have a question about is the verb on the vocals could be eq'd better (less 500Hz).
i mean thats nothing really, its just i like to point out what i think (my ears are telling me). i've never heard your other stuff, something to look forward to.

Give a listen to the rest of the songs I posted on iCompositions, though, and let me know what you think. Thanks!
