Recomendation for gigging stage piano??

Question for keyboard players out there:

I might be doing some actual gigs (so far the shows I did were at venue with keyboards set up for me) and I need to use my own gear.

I just bought a Motif 6 for my "Synth" (with the help of recos from y'all on here).....

but my "piano" is now a Yamaha P250 which is really too heavy to bring.

I used to have a P80 which in rertrospect would've been great for gigging, given the weighted 88 keys, and lightweight, but i upgraded to P250 for more sounds.

Wondering what you guys recommend/use? I"d rather stay cheap, since I just got the Motif..... ideally want to spent $500-700.

Thanks.

I saw that on musician's friend/buy etc..... but sometihng in me is like "Casio??" It just makes me thing of those first keyboards in Macy's in the80s that i always played.

i know that's not fair. smile

Is there a cheap Kurzweil or Alesis or something? I see Kurzweill has SP88 and SP88x.

wondering if I need truly weighted keys or if semi-weighted is enough (I did grow up palying acoustic) and if i really need 88 vs 76 keys..... since i'm going to playing synth and piano at the same time often (though not always).

Just curious what others think. I'm searching for a used P80 also, but hard to find. I should never have sold mine! smile
