I just signed with King Mojo Records and Entertainment, headed up by former Atlantic and Capricorn VP Dick Wooley.

He was instrumental in breaking huge southern rock bands like the Allman Brothers Band and the Marshall Tucker Band, as well as playing a very active role in all sorts of names from CSNY, Sam & Dave, Led Zeppelin, etc. Read more about him at http://www.kingmojo.com/about.htm

The label development deal:
Basically, he uses his connections (he's the former VP at Atlantic and Capricorn) to get me in front of major labels. Their goal is to get me a major label deal. My goal is to get a major label deal that doesn't screw me, so, there's the fun in THAT.

OK, sounds good man. Now let's hope things work out and you get that major deal. You certainly deserve one in my opinion.

mmmmm to my knowledge Wooley was NEVER VP of Atlantic or Capricorn. I think he was a promo gopher, not to say he doesn't know his stuff...but I would contest his position at the labels.
