Seriously though, I used to use WinMX becuase it was pretty darn good, but then they were shut down, started back up again through a modified system, then filled with garbage links by the RIAA or someone looking to catch people file trading. Needless to say, it now sucks, and I deleted it a long, long time ago.

soulseek is aight..i use it..thought..downloading music files is really tricky with alot of virus,spywares,etc..soulseek is aight..

Two things to look for;

1.) A good forum that frequently shares files, if you look around you're bound to find a few places, many of them will make files available via Rapidshare or Megaupload.

2.) Torrents are pretty much the way to go these days for file sharing. All you need is a torrent client, such as Bitcomet, and find a torrent search engine on the web (Google for the term "torrent search" and you'll find a ton of them). Try bitcomet.com for the client and check out torrentspy.com to find what you are looking for.

Also, anytime you're browsing around for sites like this, you might want to use Firefox with the AdBlock extension. and the AdBlock Updater extension installed, otherwise you will get bombarded with ads. Many of the sites that share files and torrents overload their pages with ads.

I used to use WinMX too. That's where I got Extra Loveable, Moonbeam Levels, Wet Dream cousin and other boots on there, but that was RARE. You used to be able to get a SHIT MOTHER LOAD of boots on KaZaa. All you had to do was search for "Prince" and let it search over night and you'd basically be able to get the whole damn vault but not anymore though which sucks. Other than those 2...
