beginning bass player trying to learn some of the songs off 1999. I've got some other prince songs down such as kiss, lemon crush, jerk out, but am trying to learn dmsr, let's pretend we're married, and lady cab driver. any help would be appreciated.

Just curious, how are ou playing kiss on bass? There is no bass in that song, is there?


i figured out some o hte bass riff to DMSR .... i'm too tired now to try it but i tihnk it revovled around these notes: Bb, Db, Eb, Gb

pretty much just making something up that kinda fits. think it's an A on the root and then improvise a sparse funk beat along with the guitar.
