Album deal for Bumper in the works!

Just wanted to share with you Org musicians that we are currently in negotiation with 2020 Vision from the UK (www.2020recordings.com). They are very interested in doing an album with us!

2020 Vision is a respected independent label that is known all over the world (in the underground house scene that is). They have done more than 130 12" releases and they are currently focussing on doing complete albums with artists that they believe in. Anyway, very exciting of course for us Bumper guys, it would be great to have an album next to our 12" releases.

I'd like to give a special shout out to fellow orger Marc Deon, the man who made all of this possible by releasing our first 12" record "Tuff Groove/ Detroit" on MDEX Recordings. This release got the attention of several labels in the UK, so thanks again for giving us that chance. You the man, Marc! wink
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

I love the album cover...if in fact that is it or just YoYo's excellent eye. Bold, in your face, to the point with great color choice and no clutter.

Thanks! This was the cover for our first maxisingle that Marc has released on his MDEX label. The design was done by Ingmar and me, and our plan was to continue this design and use different colors for every new release.

But for the album I think we are gonna use a photo-cover, although we'll probably will still use the Bumper logo. I see a big bouncing lowrider photographed from the floor (so the chrome frontbumper of the car will be in full view), with a sexy chick leaning over the car showing her abundant "rear bumper". The background will be the beach here in Scheveningen, The Netherlands. Working title is "Tales from the Dutch Westcoast", hehe!
