I'm so slow. I never noticed this forum. Hi, everybody. I'm Doron, I'm from New Haven, CT. I post a lot up here, mainly dumb shat (heh) but I sing in a band called The Smyrk. Basically, they were a instrumental trio, I was in an R&B group. I met them, we hooked up and I left my old band. So this is our third release right here. Hopefully, we get better everytime. It often takes giving feedback in order to get some back around here, if you know what I mean.

Nice vocals. Not my type of music but I enjoyed this. Nice pro quality. In 'Cope Aesthetic' around the end I would add some extra backing voices or even new phrases to add some variety.

Production is great. I like the way the vocals work with the music. The fact that they're not your usual hard rock style vocals is working in your favour. I can imagine it being lots of fun seeing you guys live. Keep at it!

The best thing that I can say about this music is that it DOESN"T remind me of anything but Smyrk! I love the vocals and the power of the band. The thing that I would like to see this band do is loose the Fuck'n Tee-shirts, grow some hair, stop looking like just another MTV corporate band and be the Rock Godz that you already are. You aren't like anyone else so why do you look like everyone else. Hey it may work for you but I would just once like to see someone in this day and age not try to fit in with the way everyone else looks.
Please be who you are. There are Rock Godz screaming to get out of the four of you but I don't know if you guys are roadies or kick-ass musicians who are headlining. Please, GIVE ME SOMETHING DIFFERENT TO LOOK AT!
So far as your music all I can say is pure energy. Power to the x degree. The songwriting is some of the best I've heard for quite some time. The lyrics are intellegable which makes me not only want to listen again but be a part of what is being sung. That says a lot when someone can have such a compelling performance that they can draw the listener in. Gr8 Job guys, now GET A VISUAL!

That's almost dope. We don't always dress so shitty, but we did for that shoot and I have no clue why, other than it bein July in CT, which is unbearable and too hot to be cute. But you're totally right. We need a stylist badly... At least ya'll think the music is cool. Hopefully a wardrobe switch is easier to achieve than a style upgrade.

People knew the difference between the Red Hot Chillie Peppers and Janes Addiction not only because of their music but the way they presented themselves. Same thing with Fishbone and Living Colour.
