All I want for Christmas is ...

I'll start.

A credit card to Guitar Center. I'll pay it off on my own, I swear, I just want to go on a $2000 crazy bastard shopping spree! Get a US Fender Strat, a couple of nice mics, that's all I want. (well, unless I had $25000).

So what do you want?

I'll just go with yours it sounds good.

This year the slogan and theme of Christmas for me is "if it can't be made of construction paper it's not a gift."

I've moved overseas and I'm in the middle of the slow and painful process of buying gear all over again. My list is long, but at the top is a new mixer, a Jazz Bass, a Strat and more stomp boxes (you can never have enough) starting with a Phaser and an Analogue Delay.
Oh, and an 8th day in every week in 2006 when I can work on my music for 12 hours straight without interruption would be nice.
biggrin

Heck yeah! I want one of those too! Have you ever been at the end of a creative day and just wished you could freeze time for a little while until you were done? It's always like "damn! I have to go to work in four hours!"

Yes, santa send me an 8th day please.

Man that is exactly what I need. A 36h day would be cool as well.

I've been cruising Guitar Center again. I know, I know, the officers told me to stay away, but when you've done it for so many years, it's just impossible to break a pattern. I am who I am, come hell or high prices.

I've been touching new stratocasters. There's just something about a brand spankin new guitar that makes me weep. Especially when I go home and play my 25 year old strat. Sure, I could just drop $400 on THAT guitar and it would play like a mother, but, what's the point? I might as well dive into the pool of satisfaction instead of wading at the edge, and get that NEW Strat!

I mean, who HASNT loved that "new strat smell" that comes in the case? Whoof. The things I'd do to that case.

I should go now. It's not safe.
