A couple LIVE tracks...

Hey y'all, been a long time since I visited. I have mainly holed up and finished my CD and that kinda stuff. But I figured these tracks might be worthy of some of the funky souls that frequent this place.

I tossed up a a couple mics at Sundays rehearsal and got what I think is some cool stuff. I gotta say, Nate Pate, the other guitar player in the live group, is just about the funkiest player I have ever heard. Just listen to the chord grooves he is laying down. I went to high school with all the band members. Very cool, as all these guys play the shizzle out of their instruments.... These are live, and extremely spontaneous. Lot's of jamming, so they are a bit longer than the album versions I have. This is one hell of a fun project to be playing live!!!

Oh yeah, I remember this one. These is definitely better live nod But then again I'm always a bigger fan of live sessions. Who's the drummer on these?

Good memory!!

I like both versions, just a different animal. The freedom of performing with tons of space and room to make crap up is hugely rewarding. I look forward to every rehearsal, it is different every time.

Peter Gaard is the drummer, not who played on the CD. He and I went to school together and Peter has been a great fit for the live stuff.
