How do you get on iTunes? I did it just like SONY. I sent them 5 million bucks.

When you join CDBaby.com - you send them 6 copies of your CD, shrink-wrapped. They put 5 in the warehouse to sell, and open one, convert to digital (mp3, duh) and then because they can claim major-label status with something like over 100,000 artists or whatever, iTunes, amazon, and (HOLY CRAP) Tower Records will sell your stuff as digital downloads... in fact I think amazon and Tower will sell your actual records through CDBaby.com.

It's hopefully a huge damn step for my online musical career. But seriously - having your music available on a dozen more sites is really awesome, but they're really not doing anything to drive interest in the CD. That's still pretty much on me and the Beau Show publicity department.

ON a side note, I FINALLY ordered CRACKA! stickers. org me your mailing address, and I'll hook you up when they arrive. They're tiny. I'm going for branding, not name-awareness.

So to put some NFO or otherwise albums on CD Baby still costs a few bucks?

well - yeah. But it's only $35. And then they get a cut of your money, but it's less than half...
