I came up with a great idea for a remake of one of my favorite songs last night - I ran home and recorded the roughs and then went out and did it live at one of them open jams, and holy mother of pizza cars, the place thought I was the greatest thing since ziploc bags.

So, I'm running home tonight to polish the rough recording and I'll post it. You won't be let down. I promise.

Okay, here's the damn deal. I've been pretty much spitting at my computer for 3 hours now. After staying out very late last night, I have very little patience for a stupid box of wires and binary code that is outsmarting me.

SO then, the amazingness is not so much the amazingness. THe best I have for you is the original mf-ing rough scratch that I threw together while I was just making sure I could play my way through the whole song.

AND THE BITCH IS, NOW, I can't even upload the muffer! DAMN! THE MAN IS BRINGING ME DOWN! Because it is a cover, I can't use my usual freebie hosting space for the song.

I'm working on it. Give a cracker 10 more damn minutes.

- I was trying to sing quietly because the kids are asleep upstairs
- I didn't actually HAVE a copy of the song in front of me, the music is from memory, the lyrics were on a page in front of me.
- I was in a hurry to knock out the bs vocals.

Dude! What takes you a few hours to do music wise takes me a few weeks to even come close to comphortable to share with anyone else. Can't go wrong with Jimi unless you are a total HACK and THAT you are not.
