I never post in this forum, im not a musician but my friend needs the tabs for a wedding. he's having a guitar player and he needs this song played.

Can someone direct me to the spot for transcribed tabs?

As far as I know (and it's only 'bout three feet),
the chords are basically G and C.
Loop the beat from the CD, have the guy do some bluesy fills here 'n' there and don't forget to have fun with it

PS.After further inspection, there is indeed a D chord thrown in there and possibly another strange chord at the end of the chorus (perhaps a B?)
And, as stated before, the original sheet music states "No Chord Played Throughout"

I believe Prince plays this song with a G chord throughout (at least he did on the musicology tour), although i personally find it easier and better sounding to play with the G, C and D as mentioned before

The live version (from the movie) is the iv chord and then hammer on the g string from 3 to 4 and then play the I chord...

The iv chord: (IV - the 4 in the key of G is C)
