Trevor Horn

This guy is the coolest!

I have always admired his productions, though I really never knew much about him. I knew he produced ABC, The Art of Noise, and Frankie Goes To Hollywood, but I didn't know until recently that he produced a couple tracks by Wendy and Lisa, and produced one of the best songs of all time in "Kiss From A Rose" by Seal. He has also produced Lisa Stansfield and many others. He was also the lead singer, producer, creator of The Buggles and "Video Killed The Radio Star", and produced many, many other artists.

I am going to begin producing more music and composing music that is much more differentiated in styles and time signatures. If I focus on the instrumental side of the art, and form the songs intricately, I believe the end result will be far better than anything I have recorded thus far. I have done a few of these types of songs in the past- "Candidate 4 the Party" was one of them. But many of my songs have only been extended creative loops with different supplemental add in's to give the illusion of differentiation- still creative and artistic, but very simplistic and sometimes repetitive.

So, Trevor, here's to you, and I am going on my mission in art.

Cheers,
J
