TWO new songs (for real, come listen!)

I don't know what the heck happened to my thread that I started last night, but this is a new recording of an older song that I did. Just wanted to get some feedback from you peeps. It's a new uptempo version of So Good In Blue. Listen to both and I'm sure you'll agree it's a vast improvement. Well, what do ya think??

Added another one:

Moistulation (version 2.0)

This first one sounds really great. I've been going through the weekend from hell - the babies apparently came up with a scheme to drive us crazy, and it's working. No naps, no rest, oh man, it's been a long long long weekend.

I like the tune. The music sounds dead on. My one suggestion (hahaha you were waiting for it, right?) is to roll the vocals back some, they seem to sit a little too high up on the mix. Or maybe just roll the high end off of the eq. I know it's hard because of the vocal range; no yelling, just cool singing - so, I dunno. Go listen to some George Michael and see how they mix his voice into stuff like that...

Dig it tho. Drums are sounding great.

Thanks, guys! Did you listen to both?? Yeah, Beau, my mixing skills are still not very good. The latest goal is to make sure that I get the format for the songs at home then I'll take them into my guitar/keys guy's studio to add the live drums, etc. I do think that I mixed Moistulation much better than So Good. The drums are sounding better, but WHY can't I get them to sound like yours? Jeez!

Very good tunes! cool

Moistulation is my favourite. It's funky and the mix seems to be better.

I like the uptempo version of So Good In Blue as opposed to the first version. Moistulation v2 is the dominant version of the two as well.
