COME PLAY "COME PLAY"
Written by SingMia 08 ( something ) 2005 now. Stayed a way a while... Ever since I was a child... Saw you at a dead end street playing basketball... Prayed, as I hid in the trees... Could you really see me... I saw you playing round with your friends... Come and Play with me... (I whispered) You had a smile so free ( I saw) Even if I thought I was dreaming (I know I wasn't) Come Play with me before I fall... Growing up I remember... That summer evening day I did exhist... Hanging in that tree til the dusk had risen... If only I had your friendship wrapped round my wrist... I could have skipped a heartbeat... I could have skipped a tune with you... Could you really see me... I saw your playing round with your friends in that shakespeare afternoon... Come and Play with me ... (I whispered) You had a smile so free ( I saw) Even if I thought I was dreaming (I know I wasn't) Come Play with me before I fall... We are adults with a gentle breeze of innocence... We are wandering around these halls of life... We are there here and everywhere... and Yet, I am with myself tonight.... Come and Play with me ...
