Finding a Collaborator Do any of you have a true collaboration going? Is it long-term? How did you find your collaborator and what are your thoughts on it?

I'm mainly a sound engineer. so I get to work with everyone who come to the studio
It helps working with many people until I can find the one that I can really connect with musically, and work wise.

I've had the same business/creative partner 4 the last 10 years (this October). We met entirely by accident in college. We r great friends outside of work. The best collaborators r people who think like U, have the same goals, r committed, trust-worthy and think of everything aspect of business that U always miss. There's always a fair degree of compromise involved, but when it works, the rewards r worth sacrifice. Neither of us would have the careers we have without the other's support and influence. Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

I've had creative collaborations but not that many. There was a miscommunication in one and it was traumatic with my partner quitting on me. He came back but I don't trust him like I did before. I would love a long-term collaborator. It can be really fun to have a creative partnership.
