Converting a WAV to MP3?

I used to use Musicmatch Jukebox to do the conversions, but I was annoyed by the program and didn't want it always trying to be my default player. Now I don't know how to convert this WAV file - help!

I still use MusicMatch. You can tell it to NOT be your default player, by either going to preferences, OR installing Quicktime

HAHAHAHAHA.

I hate quicktime.

try a free download on download.com. I use LameFE 2.2.3. It is simple to use.
