What's up, orgers? I just wanted you all to know that I do stop in and do a lot of lurking, but really haven't been posting a lot lately. During the summer I like to spend a lot of time outside - mostly golfing, doing yardwork, etc. I was on vactation for a couple of weeks, but have been busiest with my band and the offspring, an acoustic-ish duo. I think that we are finally starting to get a lot of the local recognition that we thought we'd have gotten before now. The gigs are really starting to pour in and we can be a bit more picky on which venues we want, money, etc. We played a couple of big money private parties during 4th of July weekend and also were the openers in a big outdoor concert series this past weekend. (As I was typing this I received a call to play another acoustic show at a local bar w/ a patio Am I saying our phone is ringing off the hook? Hell no, but we are getting a lot of compliments and recommendations from various people which leads to various other opportunities. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here!
