MELANCHOLY, written for the LADIES Be painfully honest.
MELANCHOLY, written by CToban Most times she looks the way that I want to feel. You know that happiness, you fear it not real? Don't want to wake up from the dream, to see life splitting at its seams/it seems. Would she lose it if she misses one pill? How do I describe the sparkle in her? I. I say, "Did you see the purple clouds at sunrise?" You know it just might rain, you know life comes with pain. She knows the chance is there, but this day she won't cry. She got a melancholy look about her. A sad seductive look, I'd think you'd concur. She wears a diamond in her nose and somewhere I only know. To look you'd think she had no concerns. Rich men and pretty girls this world will tell lies. You know the wolf, now you need to know thier disguise. When they ask you what you want, then they gave you just enough, they pacify then try to hook your mind. You don't like it, but that's the way are. Run to your altered-state, but now that's to far. I know you saw the clouds, here it's pouring now. Who knew one rain drop could leave you such a scar. She got a melancholy look about her. A sad seductive look, I'd think you'd concur. She wears a diamond in her nose and somewhere I only know. To look you'd think she had no concerns. (They) Don't want to see a pretty girl frown. Laugh and smile just paint it on, be their clown. They don't want to see the truth, a pretty girl gets ugly too. Watch! That smile just turned right upside-down. So let her cry, she still my lady. Scary dreams are not just in the life of a child. And when the rain falls down upon her, she's free to show her sorrow in her style. She got a melancholy look about her. ----- [Edited 7/3/05 23:46pm] [Edited 7/3/05 23:47pm] | |
