With a picture like this, I need to hear more, the samplers are just too short. How do you get all of these people to agree on anything? I know with 4 people in a band sometimes it's hard to just agree on a song.

We're all just slaves. Actually, we have about 1/3 continual turnover rate (at least in the string section), but 2/3 solid commitment. High occurence of flakiness for sure.

The conductor has a lot of charisma, the band has a lot of momentum and exciting things happening, plus it's tons of fun. It really rocks. Imagine playing punk rock songs with fifty other people that actually sounds great! And we have an experienced producer/promoter who has worked with the likes of Billy Bragg, the Avengers, and all kinds of people.

The only conflict I've heard about is a couple people refusing to sign the record contract which can hold up everything for us. Other than that, it's been really positive.

It's funny you all should bring this up because we were supposed to have a video shoot on Sunday and the entire cello and bass section didn't show up!!! (that's like 10 people)

So we were sitting there trying to play with no bass section except a tuba. It was ridiculous, we had to cancel and go home.

doh!
