Well, here goes nothing... I mostly keep quiet on this site, and don't know any of you personally. However, I always love to come to this forum to see what new and interesting creations you (the artist community) have whipped up. And nothing I have heard here has lacked energy, originality, or talent. That is why I would be honored if any of you would take the time to check out that which I and my band, Face Across The Floor, have created. The recordings were done in our garage, but I am very proud of the sound quality. Even though many of you are not fans of punk rock , please give the songs a good listen-through.
I'm on the bass (squire, picked; I'm not much of an instrumentalist, though), and backing vocals. http://www.myspace.com/in...0510231015 Thank you for taking the time. I would love it if any of you veterans-of-production left feedback. Temple Thieves, West Compton

I'm feeling 'Sacred Hideaway'. IMHO you cats should write more tunes like that. Strap 'em on, turn it up and kick out da JAMS !

What did you use to record the songs? (jambox, multi-track, computer-pro-tools thing).
The one thing I'd suggest is to roll back the final output volume - you're maxing out the frequency so there's no room when there's screams, etc, the backing vocals crowd each other. Roll back the mixdown volume and you'll have more space to add everything. It's not bad. Now cut the tempo in half, throw a wah on your bass and you've got a funk classic. We used a Behringer 8 track into Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on our computer. Thanks for the help! Temple Thieves, West Compton

I really like "Prayer for Rain". I think that you could come across much better by using an outside set of ears in the form of a producer. I think so much more could be brought out of you guys because the talent is all there. To me though it's like looking at a beautiful picture that has a lot in it but it's not focused so you can't quite see everything. Great songwriting!
