Oh yeah, I've been crazy busy in the studio. I think I just wraped up the Street Painting Festival DVD. I showed the first draft in the committee chairperson's art gallery downtown two sundays ago and everyone that saw it wants a copy. I'll have to figure out how much to charge for that one.

I also got another chamber site: http://lantanachamber.com/ They liked Lake Worth's so much, they wanted one very similar.

The other chamber has had me do some promo items for their site which has been pretty cool too.

Oh and that pesky day job has me running in circles too. We just relocated into new offices. What a pain. It's been like trying to put 50 gallons of crap into a pint container.

Anyway, that's where I've been. And more is on the way... Come June, I'm a gonna go vacation on ya. I'm pretty burnt.

I know the flash gallery is kinda cumbersome, but she wanted them to look cool and to make it so people couldn't "right click" the images and save them. I explained that nothing can stop someone form hitting the "print screen" button though.

If I had the balls ...
Let me rephrase that. If I didn't NEED all those benefits my job provides my family and could afford to miss a paycheck now and then, I'd be so doing this full time working for myself RIGHT NOW. This two in the morning crap is starting to make me look and feel older than I really am.

They way I figure it is this ...

Bust butt for a while longer.
When I have enough in the bank to afford, say ... 6 months to a year of no income, then I'll take that next step.

Until then ... This is yomomma, over and out. Time to take my cat nap before the baby wakes up for her morning bottle.

u have a good eye for this kind of stuff. I might have to hire u when my band starts making some real $.

You must be on the right track, this is a good client. Make some time for yourself everyday preferablly in the sun, it may help the long nights.

The only thing i'd suggest is that the photos to the right of the American Lifestyle Portraits start to scroll faster.
If I hadn't decide to listen to the music (very nice, but your average site traffic may not), i'd have clicked into the site and not seen them.

I also thought of shortening the song down to about half of what is there. That would probably be the best move.
