this is the new track by William Ryan George, from his forth coming Cd.
after having a really really really bad thursday (I got fired from my job) and after hearing what happen, William Ryan called me up and said that He and DreamFirstBorn, Jew were going in to the studio on saturday to cut a new track for his cd and he invited me in to hang out while they worked. it was the best thing for me at the time.. I got there first and talked a bit with perkin (that man is COOL and he made me lauph) shortly William Ryan and DreamFirstBorn, Jew showed up. The two of them together is scandolous, they remind me of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. they walked in both looking like they were hungry for some FUN. they went straight to work.. they have this thing that they always do just before each session kinda like a ritual. they go and sit out on the fire excape and look over the villiage both sides u can see the east and west, smoke a cigrette and talk about (i can't say ) then they came back in to the studio and much to my surprise in there waiting was HRH Gregory Alive in the sound room setting up the drums with Perkin... it was without saying there were going to be live drums... it was great seeing them work together. Ryan and HRH Gregory Alive both rehearsed the track 2 times Ryan on Guitar and HRH Gregory Alive on Drums... they recorded the first section with the acustic guitar first then on top of that Ryan change to the bass and they both just went with it. it was done in 2 takes and then Ryan laid down the keys.. meanwhile DreamFirstBorn, Jew was behind the board with Perkin, doing this and that i was more focus on WRG and his ability to just let go... after getting the keys down WRG went in to the vocal booth and just rip out the vocals like a pro... he is definatley got something special in him. in total we were there about 2 hours and it seemed as if it went by so fast i couldn't believe it was time to go. I really like the Song it ROCKS!!!! and it better than anything i have herd here in the NYC underground... i wish these guys the best..... i want to say thanks to William Ryan, DreamFirstBorn, Jew and HRH Gregory Alive for letting me sit in on this session.... It was what i really need to get away from what's been going on in my life recently... Thank You so much you guys for being there when i needed friends. everyone please enjoy this track.... -jazmin within this loveletter Special Thanks 2 Paisley Park and The DownLoad Society

cool track. eclectic. original and very Beatle-est as far as a close comparison in style.

Moderator | WTF? TOO SHORT!!!
Smokin tune guys! I wanted to jam a little while longer. It's really awesome to see so many of us focused this year. And I think we owe some of that to everyone on here. Our support of each other seems to be showing some cool results. Love it. All Rights Reserved. |
