Mus'B Jelly cause jam don't groove like that. The one other thing I'd like to say is, I would have put just a little "slap back" on the gitzy for the right side but hey, I didn't write it. Gr8 music as always!

Great track with a real Grant Green/early Benson vibe, Frank! Love the beboppish flavor to some of the licks.

Please tell me that some of the backing track is programmed. This gave me arthritis just thinking about how anyone can play so fast and clean at the same time. Nice. cool

Thanks man...I did it in garage band on kelly's iMac in 15 minutes. The effects
on that software are kinda limited.

The Backing track is just a couple of Garage Band loops pasted together.
The metronome speed is about 160 so it is a tad high energy, but I love playing
those sixteenths bop runs ...I just go for it!

Me too, I'm really getting into Martino's stuff on the Muse label. I'm also working through the 'activities' in his book Linear Expressions right now. Phew!

Frank, you can play the strings off of that thing! I love the bass groove- very Bootsy-esque from the James Brown days!

cool I added this one to my favorite mp3 list!

Great track, I really admire your guitar skills! cool

The only thing I'm missing is a little bit more melodic content...but that's of course a matter of taste!

smile Sweet playing Mr.Axtell. Takes me back to the Jazz Rock explosion of the 70's. Al DeMieola, Stanley Clarke, and co.,etc.(you got a real Bassy tone here.)
Even shades of Carlos on that opening note. Jungle rhythmn's. Somehow a hint of Les Paul too, near the end. Nice to hear you pushing some eclectic progressions. Excellent! Fanx!
~PClinuxOS~ yes I've been here longer than I care to remember, ... I drop in from time to time, ... thumbs up!

Thanks...I am still into alot of those players. Herbie Hancock, Joe Zawinul,
George Duke, John Scofield, Scott Henderson,
Steve Topping, Jimmy Bruno, Joe Diorio, Jaco Pastorius etc, ...
you have a discerning ear
