Soundclick (probably again, sorry!)

Hi, folks!
just a quick run-on question...

I've noticed that this is the most popular mp3 "middleman" around here and was wondering just HOW LONG it takes for a song to be "cleared" by the site before it's available to the public???

I posted a song that I recorded way back in '98 and was really, REALLY curious as to what people might think of it since the homemade jam made ME laugh after all this time...

thanks!
aaron

(recorded in '98 with a Dr 5, an Ibanez EXseries, and a Warwick)

all laughs are welcome!

the link will take you there, and then click on the far right arrow (the one pointing down)

i pre-checked it and it worked for me!

"soundclick.com/updateband/SongInfo.cfm?BandID=95911" isn't going to work for anyone but you. That's a link to update your songs. That's why it logs me out and asks me to log in when I click on it. It needs to be something like soundclick.com/bands/2/vinabluemusic.htm. Just trying to help.

ok

I'm very new to this. Just tonight, in fact.
I'm sorry for the bad link. The "band name" is 'The Prez of Minifunk' (in the alternative-experimental section)

I tried it from the "outside" just now and they said i had to wait until tomorrow (makes me think of 'The Wizard Of Oz'!!!)

I really hope you will try again later and tell me what you think, VinaBlue wink

It's amateur, but fun!!!

goodnight,
aaron

Slave2daGroove

I can smell the funk but then it goes all industrial-Nine-Inch-Nails sounding. It's a very distinct vibe you got goin here and I like it a lot.

The scratchy record sound is a nice touch but make it stop (in the 1st song) more often.

The second song is really beautiful, even from your living room floor. There's so much depth it reminds me of Bach on E dancing at a gay bar in a cage.

Is this all you?

Thanks for sharing it.

WOW!!! Thanks for the review, Slave2daGroove smile There are definately certain influences in that particular jam. wink

I had the same feeling, also, after it was completely deleted from the hard drive. "Jive Turkey" was more an archived groove that I could maybe use on a full song (someday?)

The second song is really beautiful, even from your living room floor. There's so much depth it reminds me of Bach on E dancing at a gay bar in a cage.

Is this all you? Yes, except for the drum loop in "JT" that i 'borrowed' from an old band of mine.

Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks for listening! Very cool !!!

Thank you very much, Styles!

That one was very spontaneous. I just had this itch to scratch, and there it was. It's just fun to make stuff, ain't it?!!

BTW, "4th Dimention" is a badass jam!!!
I really dig the vocal/guitar interplay

I really don't know what to say anymore! I'm kinda really choked up and very humbled at the same time! I can't believe that i sat on this stuff for so long. I'm very glad that you liked it, Psykosoul razz !!!

BTW, "Groove, Pt. 2" is alot of fun!
I like the drum programming
(i also noticed that you have trouble naming songs, as i do wink )
