Moderator | Thanks Guys!
With the New MAC set up, we can record directly to hard disk. Got a "bare bones" little set up right now but it's growing. Once we figure out how to hook up some of the existing gear to the new set up, the tones will improve. It's going to be a great year. Just one thing at a time. How friggin' cool it is not to have to mess with all kinds of outboard equipment and tape. I think our music output will be taking quite a turn. So forgive us if we flood the board with a bunch of demos for a while. Hey, I might even record all those songs I've had in my notebooks for all these years. Frank and I were just talking last night about how it's kinda ironic that with all the gear in the studio, after all the time it takes to get everything set up to record, the inspiration and motivation is kinda drained. You almost need a full time engineer if you want to keep it rollin. With all the new stuff that's out now, it takes a lot of the engineering time out of the loop and more time and focus to create. A wonderful demo! The solo is quite impressive, maybe a little bit too virtuoso for this kind of tune.

I'll keep it in mind though to do something like that. I just lease my own server, so it seems redundant to start a soundclick page. All Rights Reserved. |

Any Music not on Soundclick i've been downloading (which isn't a bad thing...but streaming is better when I've got limited disk space ) Excellent Music from the dynamic duo!!! I love it ~PClinuxOS~ I've been here longer than I care to remember, ... I drop in from time to time, ...

Hi Kelly, I was thinkin bout this in the shower the other night.. I had all my songs on both my own server and on soundclick until I realised that was a bit dumb cuz it was costin me a fortune to have ALL my songs uploaded on my own leased server when I had them uploaded on soundlick for FREE I needed over 250meg on my leased server to be able to hold all the data and I was paying near 90 dollars a month so I downgraded my leased server account to 50meg and took all my songs off it Now I just have everything up on soundlick and I can deep link to any of the listening features plus mp3 downloads for only 5 bucks a month now I only pay 15 dollars a month instead of 90 and anyone can hear or download because as you know soundlick has both lo-fi and hi-fi streaming and full playlist streaming as well I enjoy making music available to everyone even dial-up retards like myself and it's cheap too!
