I can't afford a new keyboard... but I was wondering whether you can buy pedals on their own?

If so, where can you get them from?

The answer is yes.
Your local dealer (who carries the type of keyboard you own) should be able to order them in for you.
If they can't, check the manufactuer's website or eBay.

u can use guitar effect pedals for keyboards. Sustain pedals range from 10 to 30 dollars. Expression pedals are about 30. You can use wah,wah or volume pedals as well.

Maybe it would be a good idea however to buy a digital multi-effect (like a budget Zoom processor) to experiment with as pedals tend to have one very specific sound and are often guitar-specific. They CAN sound very cool though!

In keyboard magazine this past year ther is a article on Prince, Chance, and neto. They have the pedals showing abd some diagrams.

I've been wantin them for yearz!! But da keyboard i have has this function where it can sustain your notez da harder you press on dem. Still though, i would be cool 2 have da pedalz.
