Another song I'd like to share

It's called "Königlich Bayrischer Sozialarbeiter" (engl. royal bavarian social worker). I wrote it in 2004 for the album "Die Steine sind am Rollen" (engl. The stones are rolling). Originally it was recorded with lots of guitars but in favor of the overall flow of the album they were omitted.

Have fun (ending!!! wink ) and please tell me what you think of it (good or bad)!

Thanks for listening

put the guitars back in,it might help the groove a bit. cool 80's type of song though even though I don't understand a word of it. I like the folk part.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! biggrin

I think you're right with the guitars regarding the song as a stand-alone. In the context of the whole album the heavy guitar sound seemed to be somehow out of place. That's why I changed it to a much more sparse arrangement. But I have to admit, it's no "When doves cry"! wink

The lyrics are something in between funny and serious. The narrator realizes that he has to act his age and say goodbye to his youth. That's a very difficult process everyone of us has to learn sometime.

I hope you had a laugh when listening the folk part!!!
