Songs? No. Poetry? No. I have a story.

Back in 3rd grade, in 1973, me and two brothers were the closest of friends. Oscar and Jorge - it kind of rhymes. So Oscar was my age, and Jorge was a year younger. Anyhoo, we all three decided that we would become the Jackson 3, singing ABC over and over on the school bus, learning dance moves, etc.

Jorge lies in a hospital bed right now with some crazy ass advanced pneumonia. He's gay and hasn't been tested for HIV since 1984. So, I'm going to roll the dice and assume the worst here. It's politically incorrect to immediately go from Gay + Pneumonia = AIDS, but, from what Oscar says, I'm guessing it's extremely likely.

These two are my brothers. Hard to explain right now, but, you guys are an extended family of sorts. I need prayers. I'm not a religious person on the big scale of things, but right now, I'll take what I can get. My brother is in pain and needs deliverance. I'm bracing for the worst and hoping for the best, (whatever the "best" can be at this point -- just plain ol pneumonia combined with diabetes and, oh I dunno, poor health in general? who knows).

Sorry to post here in the artist comm, but you peeps are there for me.

my prayer is for "peace" to all that is affected in this situation. nobody can get into the mind of God but we can ask for His grace and mercy in this. stay strong for your friend/brother. I am always here for u B.

Absolutely. I'll do that right now. Seriously.

I will pray for your friends. There is good news for them. I have experienced healings myself and also many other miracles in my own life.

Tell them to meditate on these scriptures verses.

I'll pray for the best and that he'll survive.
But, if we assume the worst, did you know that these days people with AIDS have a far better life expectency than years ago, with all these new medicines around? From what I heard, these days people can grow old with AIDS. Doesn't mean AIDS isn't a bitch, of course...

Thank you everyone. We're STILL waiting on test results - either THAT, or the doctor doesn't want to tell us how bad it is, (that's the pessimist in me).

Thank you for your words of comfort. For now, it seems like he's slowly improving. Hopefully we'll have some sort of answer today.
