Oh man, I see I have a lot of catching up to do... and I can not wait to hear all of this amazing new music over the weekend!
Yup.. Vina been keeping me up on some of the happs. I know I've missed hundreds of posts & links in the months that I've been away but I will try to uncover as much as I can. Please help me out with this y'all. Of course I couldn't leave without offering up a new Soundclick ditty served up courtesy of my spankin' new DELL  <- the happy dance.

I would say start off with all the fantastic new Bumper tracks, but we too stayed in contact so you have already heard them.

I really like this, Marc, beautiful lyrics too. But unlike Vina I don't really like the ending with the synths. Did you play the guitar yourself or is it a sample? I really love this guitar part. And so does Martijn (you know, my friend that you met last night). RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

The Guitar is sampled from Kaki King, It's a very brief segment in a very long and intense acoustic workout. The rest of the song sounds nothing like it. I heard that melody and I just had to give it the big REWIND. The ending was originally twice as long with a beat and a fat bassline but I ended up cutting all of that away. Beautiful, moody track!
The synthy ending seemed a bit out of place though. "Give a monkey a brain and he'll swear he's the center of the universe" (Fishbone)
