At about 5:50 I think Frank entered another place not of this earth.

lol

or maybe it was me listening to Frank

Messing with Miles is something I don't take lightly to but this is more than a cover, its a tribute. What an amazing band, individually and as a whole.

Where was the crowd? What was their reaction to witnessing this? Was it like mine with my jaw on the floor/ground?

after listening again, I think I'm quitting my life and moving to FLA to take lessons with Frank at any cost - edit

Downloding...
Frank Axtell is a must hear musician, technically and spiritually & sonically brilliant. This street Festival certainly eclipsed anything I've seen for a local council event. Congratulations both you guy's .
~PClinuxOS~ yes I've been here longer than I care to remember, ... I drop in from time to time, ... thumbs up!

I have all the footage of the band. I'm going to work it into a video/DVD in the next couple of weeks. I hope to post a quicktime movie as well.

The music went SO well with the paintings. You guys are going to love it.

Thanks so much everyone. The guys in the band are all serious players.

Randy Ward (bass) is the most in demand bassist for live and recording studio sessions in South Florida. I try to call him first and with plenty of heads up time. Randy is a master at melody. He'll weave stuff into his solos that will blow you away and different all the time in all keys! He knows thousands of melodies off the top of his head and can incorporate stuff on the fly. Add to that a serious classical guitarist/bassist right hand! And the big plus is he's the nicest cat to work with.

Jacksons Bunn (piano) http://www.jacksonbunn.com/ is a serious player also. He really has that Herbie meets Joe Sample thing going on and also breeze to work with.
Jackson's always tells me " It's all good" whenever I'm suggesting tunes. So that says it all.

Finally Lewis Rainbow (drums) http://www.drummonkey.com/lewisrainbow/
the newest member replacing my cool Venezuelan drummer Gustavo Calle which many of you heard on the earlier live stuff we posted. Gustave had to relocate to New Orleans.
Lewis is a powerhouse player. He kicks the band real nice. Funk, odd meter, latin, samba, progressive rock, bebop or swing.

I'm afraid to think what will happen if this band actually starts rehearsing!
