Post your favourite songs to cover to help me with an upcoming show! I'm needing to do some cover songs for a small gig I'm playing in the next few weeks.
Anything soul/funk/blues/pop/jazz/rock is welcome, so long as it will sound good on bass, rhythm and lead without drums, but with light percussion. Thanks in advance people!! I'll post pics of the gig when it's done if anyone's interested. . [Edited 2/7/05 16:21pm]

"ain't no sunshine" -- Bill Withers....
Use the bass or guitar as the perc's on the "I know" part..... it's as good as gold! Jshua p.s. How about "Moondance" by Van Morrison? p.p.s. And "So What?" by Miles Davis Jshua

Yeah, originally "So What" didn't have lyrics, but I've heard versions of it where someone did put lyrics to it in the form of the solos.. Also, Led Zep,Joni Mitchell, Ani Difranco and (of course) Mr. P are always good choices! Jshua
