I've never collaborated with another person on lyrics/music, except the one time I threw my lyrics over somebody else's music. For the most part, I always find it close to impossible to put music to somebody's words, only for the fact that they may already have something in mind for their lyrics, (after all, I think the words are far more personal than the music, if you ask me, which nobody has, but I'll tell ya anyhow). Also, perhaps the reason nobody's responded to your post is because this wing of the org consists of a tight-knit community - which is great and bad at the same time.

It's best to introduce yourself, (as you have, good job) and then go join in some of the other discussions going on around this section - maybe throw your ideas in on somebody's lyrics - constructive criticism never hurt nobody.

Best of luck to you. I read some of your stuff, it's good, you definitely should find a musician to work with.

Can you sing too? Most of us do it all ourselves, but there are some people around here that write instrumental pieces and are looking for lyrics and vocals. Funkaholic1972 and Psykosoul are some cool people to check out.

Hi! missmad Your lyrics are well crafted, good luck and keep writing, someone will pick up on them ; and put music to them.
Maybe in the "real world " an aquaintance or friend who plays an instrument, which would enable you to Nut out your feelings to the Musician, and them to feedback opinion 2 U . Never know your luck though, anything and everything can and has happened in this Forum .
