Neglecting My Acoustic Guitar

i dunno whats up, i've been really neglecting it these
days
i always promise myself im gonna play it, and i never keep up the promise

is it because im not enthusiastic about the instrument anymore?

i really want to, but i dunno...

.. i think its because im not very fond of everyone hearing my playing
with my keyboard or my Tele, i can usually just plug-in my headphones without disturbing anyone

if this is the case maybe i should get and Electric-Acoustic?

what do you guys think?

I went through the same thing and ended up getting rid of my two acoustic steel-strings. They're just so damn loud that in the house, with neighbours etc. I felt sort of too intimidated to play them powerfully. Also, I like the sound and feel of an electric better. It was really only a problem as long as I felt I somehow HAD TO spend a part of my playing time playing an acoustic. Does this sound familiar to you?

Personally, I just never liked the sound of an acoustic...they are just so unforgiving when you make a mistake too! No handy distortion to blend over the errors lol

I prefer a nice clean electric sound to an acoustic tone anyway, a wee bit of reverb, slap the headphones on and I'm off to a world of my own..nod

Nice!

Don't worry about the neighbours. Generally I know what you mean, it's unpleasant knowing someone is listening in. Personally i've only ever gotten good reports, when asking does my playing disturb you?
Plus playing an electric guitar through headphones seems kinda weird, no offence, just play, the world loves music! wink
~PClinuxOS~ yes I've been here longer than I care to remember, ... I drop in from time to time, ... thumbs up!

I once had a very tall and scary neighbour who threatened to kill me because he heard me driving a couple of nails into a closet at 8 in the evening. I had to call the cops! So after that, I definitely worried about the neighbours. (Since then I've moved to a bigger house and made the attic soundproof smile!
