I thought I’d share the news that I finally bought a Dunlop rotovibe yesterday!

I must say I am amazed how good its tone is & how useful it can be!

For instance during some solos I found it cool to lever the pedal up and down as you would with a cry baby to give you and interesting tone.

I also managed to obtain a similar (to my ear) tone that prince obtains in the song so far, so pleased by leaving the vibrato steady a one level.

Any way these are my thoughts, who here owns one or is thinking of getting one, and what do you think?

Since I heard Hendrix at the Filmore East, I've wanted to check one of these out but never had a chance.

Expensive?

The rotovibe is expensive in comparsion to the cry baby's, it actually took me a while to find one in a retail store.

I was hesitant to buy it at first, but as soon as the attendant told me about their 20% discount I jumped at it.
