[Edited 1/9/05 7:28am] Thanks for the compliment, but you guys are WAY ahead of me. Then again it's just me with hardly any technical skill... My goal is to learn those magic tricks this year. You've just inspired me.

Sounds cool, but it is hard for me to really judge it at 24kb quality. Why not put some tracks up at better quality? Wouldn't hurt I think, you guys have sung and rapped over it, so it would be hard to pirate your music. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Perhaps in the near future after production and mixdown is complete.

Thanks for the positive criticism. We are trying to keep as far away from commercialism as possible. Not that we have a dire problem with that perse', but I wanna produce music that real musicians would love to hear played on the radio. We don't want to be clones of the ever present "dying" culture of hip-hop.

Ya know, I think every singer, songwriter or musician at some point in their lives should just simply allow themselves to be a channel of whatever creativity flows from their experience of this life. Funny, cause when I allow this to happen the music creates itself to fruition. Then when I look back at it, I really can't say how it's completion arrived. There was just something that said, "it is completed." Ya know? I think we as musical artist should really not focus on the eventuality of a composition, or what people will think of the completed production. There will always be some who love, and some who hate. That being said, your music, for me was a journey into your experience of life. And I really dug the material. I also think that by being both musicians we each can subliminally hear or add other production that is not present in any uncompleted recording and vividly see where the artist is going.

I did not mean that it was supposed to be commercial. I thought you were aiming for the true artists and you found them with your music. It is thought provoking and abstract.

My bad. I had listened to your music and I find it very uplifting. Love the spiritual vibe. I try to do that with my music as well. Trying to always bring out the positive spiritual side in my stuff. [Edited 1/15/05 10:47am]

I'm hearin' your music fam. Nice guitar riff! You can tell Prince influenced you greatly. Sounds reminicent of early Jesse Johnson. How is the Atlanta scene? My sister has been trying to get me visit.

The change up at 2:09 on "Dawn" is really nice. I love the hip-hop. You are very very talented. You guys need to have your own featured block on Def Poetry or something. This is very, very informative. Much needed right now. "Holla" is nearly new wave!
Peace, JD | |

Peace, JD Thanx flash. You know your reaction helps me to continue. Funny cuz a lot of times I have to try to keep the members of this group from giving up. We have been at it for 3 years and the music has evolved into something that I can't really explain. I just know that it should be given "life". So I keep plugging at it trying to get them to keep coming to practice and recording. Any help to give this project life is welcomed.

Thanks man, but are you sure that you have listened to Bumper, or have you been listening to otan (Beau Hall, he's the one from Atlanta, and so is Talmuzic)? I live in the Netherlands, so that's pretty far away from Atlanta, hehehe! RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

I listened to "Demo 2" and it has sort of an Erotic city beat. They both sounded great. Reminded me of Prince's earlier material. I did however get your place of residency incorrect. Sorry my friend!

Vina speaks the truth -- very experimental. That's a vibe I can get into. I like the tempo change in "Dawn of a Nu Era" at the two-minute point; kinda reminds me of "Positivity" by the Black Eyed Peas. "Holla" is a jam!
I like both tracks, but I think I'm feelin' "Holla" a little bit more right now.
